Welcome to JRCN Boer Goats. We are a family owned operation, that got started raising Boer Goats in 2008 as 4H projects for our daughters. Since then we have decided to raise mainly show and breeding stock. Since we have a small acerage we needed to concentrate on raising the best goats we could afford. We got our name and JRCN Boer Goats in a simple way its from our names. James, Rose Carroyl and Nikki.

We are member of the American Boer Goat Association, United States Boer Goat Association and the Iowa Meat Goat Association.

We have some very nice Iowa bred Boer goats. We all know that these are South African Boer goats, so don't let the ads fool you. South Africa is where all Boer goats originated from, though the did go through New Zealand too. They just happen to do great in Iowa too. Our stock has come from all over the midwest, including Iowa, Missouri, and Illinois. We believe Iowa is fast becoming a force to be reconed with in the Boer goat industry. Since getting into Boer goats we have put together a wonderfull herd so please check out our locally bred Boer goats. Its not only good for us its good for the Iowa Boer goat industry as a whole. Besides you may just fall in love with these amazing goats, like we did.

Please check out our goats feel free to give us a call, we love showing off our goats. Especially the new Buck WAF Austin SA. Who is pictured above.

We are convienently located in Lynnville Iowa just 12 miles South of interstate 80 off of exit 182. Pretty much in the middle of the state.

Our daughters are growing up with one in college and the other is a senior in high school. Between that and being self employed, running a 24 hr towing service and automotive salvage yard so our time is very precious to us. We never go into anything that we can't put all our hearts into, and you just can't help putting your heart into these amazing goats. They all have there own personalities.
Win Foxey Socks also came from Betty Hazel at whispering Willows Boer Goats and we showed her at the Marshalltown 2 day open show. She took first in her 3-6 month class and was the youngest goat in her class.

This is Bear Creek Comet being shown at the Eldon Iowa open show. Comet won reserve Champion the first time we showed him. Comet is one of our herd sires and as you can tell he is put together real nice. He has long deep loins and thick muscle while keeping a lot of length.

As a 4 H project my daughters and I began making some amazing goat milk soaps and lotions. My youngest Nikki won 1st at county fair and went on to win all blues at the Iowa State Fair with this project. Which we are also listing for sale here on www.jrcnboergoats.com along with homemade all natural lip balms made with beeswax and lanolin.

We have found the coffee goat milk soap is great for getting rid of the buck smell, from your skin. It is a great all around kitchen soap. I keep a bar at the sink just for getting rid of not only the buck smell but onions and fish odors, as well.
